Staying the Course

The scale decided to bestow on me a blessing this morning, a 2.4 pound loss, seemingly overnight! I keep in mind that each tiny victory is the fuel that propels me on the journey ahead. The road ahead will be winding, tricky at times, and requires new eyes for fresh perspective. I can no longer look at my successes or emotional sufferings at life to be rewarded or consoled with greasy food, but must find tricks to make the mundane everyday life more successful. Instead of "can i afford mayo on this sandwich" my perspective needs to be "What is best, for Alisha?" Life looks different through this lense! Rather than "Oh, I'm travelling today, that totally deserves a break from the workout routine", I must get creative, and will wear comfortable clothes on the plane, because I plan on at least getting a 30 minute walk in at the Atlanta airport. It's so easy to want good, healthy things for those we care for, but quite a different story for many of us to apply to ourselves.

Workout (written in advance, will confirm once it's complete) 30 minute walk in ATL airport

Eating: Breakfast: Oatmeal, Black coffee Lunch: Ham & Provolone wheat 1/2 sandwich from goodcents, lots of veggies; baked lays Dinner: Something made of rabbits food at the ATL airport

Weight: 194.0 Total weight loss: 9 pounds 0 oz
